has anyone had an allergic reaction with children’s motrin cold? ds has milk and egg issues but none of that is on the label of this med however he appeared to have hives after the dosing. just trying to eliminate as usual. any help is appreciated!!!

is it a different color/flavor than other meds he takes? maybe the dye or flavor?

I have to agree with Laura. When we tried tylenol Colt broke out so bad so we have switched to dye free. I don’t know if you can get motrin in dye free.

i do know that youre not suppiosed to use motrin if they are under 6 months…

jameson is old enough to take motrin-2.5 years and it is the dye free…we can’t figure it out. he definitely has a problem with it-takes everything else med wise just fine but will not take this!! so strange. maybe it’s a medicine ingredient. oh well, if i figure it out, i’ll be sure to share-thanks everybody!
