question for zegerid users

i am so confused.

i looked up Justices dose at marci kids, and it says it should be 42 mg, just like Traces. (that is the highest marci kids dose)

42 mg is 3.5 ml three times a day if you are making a 4mg/ml suspension (6.5ml of water per packet)

are you inlcuding mylanta in your total ML??

4mg/ml=4 mg in each ML. so 4+4+4+2. so that is 3.5 ML
which is 14 mg total.

14*3 (3 times daily) =42mg daily

unless you are mixing it at a different concentration? lol im lost.

shelby, the 7 ml is if you were mixing it with 16.5 ml of water.
we are not doing that. that makes a 2mg/ml concentration. you and I are making a 4mg/mL concentration.
so, 42 mg is 3.5 mL 3 times a day

if you were giving him 7 ml 3 times a day, then i dont even know how much that would be like 50 something or 60 soemthing mg a day!!!!!

yea try the 3.5 ml, thats the highest marci kids dose…. it also says generally that will be the dose from this point forth..
let me know how it goes…

I know I am jumping in late, but Evan takes 4mls per dose (48mgs per day) and I am actually thinking that he needs an increase, he is now teething and not sleeping or eating well at all.

jenay and robin….wow those are high, so how often do you have to refill the zegerid??
