who cannot afford their meds. It’s at:

It has a listing of medications & the manufacturers that have
assistance programs, many times they provide the medicine for free if
you meet their criteria.

You can contact 1-800-830-1015 for the TAP Prevacid Patient Assistance Program. They GIVE prevacid (capsules only) away for free if you meet certain guidelines. You can even have partial prescription drug coverage.

Laura-Thanks you so much! I had heard about those 2 but didn’t know where to find the info!

Emily-Isaac’s weight is probably the same as it has been..he was eating better than usual but then he got very sick with a cold and now a bad cough so eating is just not happening. We go for a weight check on wednesday and i will post an update then. Thanks for asking

I will pray for you and your family! I know things will get better! My dad is a doctor (please don’t throw eggs at me as i Know how we all feel about drs…he is an orthopedic surgeon, and one of the few doctors I have met that cares for his patients.) He kept reminding me when we were going through all this reflux stuff with Brianna that babies are resilient! They are tough and fighters! I know Isaac is going to turn things around, and before you know it, he is going to be an eating machine!!!

I was going to suggest looking into COBRA too. It is pricey- usually you have to pay up to 102% of the premium (you pick up the cost the employer used to pay) but I doubt too it would be over $1000 a month and like Kim pointed out you would also be protected against other things. We did COBRA when Dh was between jobs and it was $971.00 per month for family coverage. You can elect to just cover selct members though and it may be cheaper. Another thing to consider is if you have a lapse in coverage, you may be stuck with “preexistings” and the new carrier may not cover certain conditions or require a waiting period before they do. I don’t mean to stress you out more but just trying to inform you. I will definitely keep you all in my prayers. Good luck. Mom2Seth2007-1-15 12:44:48
