Hi – My son was up at least 3-4X a night up until he was diagnosed with MSPI. He was put on Neocate on Dec.4. He slept through the night for the first time on Dec. 5! (through the night for us was 4-5hrs straight.) He sleeps in an Amby bed that a friend of mine loaned me. He has never liked sleeping in a bassinet or crib – literally since day one in the hospital! He does wake usually 1-2X still, but it’s much better than it was. He has reactive airway disease, so that’s been affecting his sleep too. But I have to say, the Amby bed is the best. He’ll nap in that thing for 2-3 hrs at a time. If I put him in his crib, he’s up within 1/2 hr. I don’t know what I’m going to do when he outgrows the Amby bed! Good luck to you.

Laura, I can’t believe you posted about that. I am not crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Justice has one pair of jammies that most of the time when he wears them he sleeps so much better. I really thought I was losing it. Okay, sorry. I have no advice, but will say my son is 9 mos old and we are going through the same thing. I will say though the jammies have helped a bit. Oh, with my first son we put a cloth diaper through the binky and it helped to hold it in his mouth and also he could reach for it in the night. It also helps when you get rid of the binky. They can hold onto the cloth diaper so they don’t feel like they lost so much. It worked for us anyway.

If you figure it out let us know. Someday they will sleep again. Sigh

No advice here… I don’t know how I function sometimes on such little sleep. Hailey is up more than she is asleep. It’s awful. Good luck. Hope you can sort things out soon.

#4: Irritating sleepwear. Some babies cannot settle in synthetic sleepwear. Change to 100 percent cotton clothing to see if your baby sleeps better.
