InactiveI’m an action kind of girl..so here is another executive decision about a thread topic…this one is to document struggles. This is very apt today…you mith (this was might…see I’m still on a sugar high) already have read about my overconsumption of lollies at work to day…man I think I nearly had a hyper sugar attack and went crazyyyy. No more lollie tommorrow!

InactiveI had a male co-worker teasing me with cookies (we sell them every Wednesday for a fundraiser…very hard to smell fresh baked cookies all day when dieting!!!). After getting over the urge to punch him in the face for tempting me…I’m happy to say I didn’t cave in! Go me!

InactiveGood job, Amy
I can’t anything sweet since I still breastfeed Ariella once/twice a day so if I eat anything that’s slighly sweet, she’s crawling the walls. That child gets way too hyper! No sugar for her until she’s 18.March 22, 2007 at 9:48 pm #28252Anonymous
InactiveOops, I meant I can’t eat anything sweet

InactiveEmily, DH works at an electronics store that have them and I was going to get him to get it today at work…but I’m not talking to him because he has been an arse…so maybe not today. Maybe I could text him…cause that doesn’t count as talking

InactiveOK, here is my list of reasons (AKA – excuses) why I am taking a few day hiatus from my diet…
1) STRESS of selling a house and moving

2) Very sick and miserable screaming baby

3) Friend coming to stay for the weekend…can’t pass up good restaurants and company when DH is babysitting!

4) Easter family dinner…a good homecooked meal…what more do I have to say!

I will start back up again on Monday…I PROMISE!

InactiveMonday is always great day to restart….enjoy your hiatus while it lasts…we all need a bit of fun everynow and then. Enjoy every mouthful…then back to it Mon!
I hope Sarah starts feeling better soon.

InactiveYikes… another bag of mini-eggs bit the dust!!! Someone please ban me from the store!

Inactivei love mini-eggs. i have been eyeing them slyly every time i am at the store…but its been 7 weeks and 20# — with many, many more to go…we are having an easter/ passover dinner on sunday (we have an interesting crew, so we try to do at least one melded celebration) and i am plotting for the mini-eggs then…

isn’t weird that people don’t like chocolate? the closest hannah has gotten to eating chocolate is the frosting on a donut…

InactiveHi Becky! We also have an “interesting” crew… I’m Jewish, dh is Asian, and there are lots of other nationalities in his family as well. Given that it’s Passover, I shouldn’t have been eating them anyhow!!!

InactiveI have “restarted” weight watchers every Monday for the last 3 weeks! I haven’t managed to fully commit yet, but next week is spring break, so I’m hoping to behave with the diet and find more time to exercise.
Still, I may not have managed to stick totally to the plan, but every week I’ve done a little bit better, so I figure I’m on track to get there soon!

InactiveKim,
You know, I heard once, that you should never start a diet on a Monday.
Supposedly it’s easier to “stick with it” if you start on a Friday or Saturday because weekends are often harder to stick to your diet. That way you get the hard part over when you’re probably more motivated. Or something like that.
Anyway, thought that might be helpful for you. Good luck.April 6, 2007 at 3:17 pm #29777Anonymous
InactiveThanks for the tip Heather! Another reason for me to procrastinate starting until next Friday (it’s too late to start today, right!?)
