I know I have a while before I have to worry about this, but my DH and I decided to go ahead and start doing some resarch for Brianna’s big girl bed. Everything I have looked at is SOO expensive. Any mom’s with children already in big girl beds have ideas for me of where to shop for a reasonable bed? (we are ideally looking for a trundle bed). Thanks for the help.

Hmmm, I don’t know about a trundle bed but we already have a twin size bed and I had just planned on getting side safety rails for it. Are you wanting something even smaller than a twin?

We already had a twin bed. We put it against the wall with a safety rail on one side and a crib mattress at the bottom. She is a very restless sleeper, so she has actually fallen off the bottom of the bed several times. She has even been known to sleep through it. A couple of times we’ve gone in to get her in the morning and found her on the crib.

We haven’t figured out what we’re going to do with Alex yet, so I’ll be interested to see what everyone suggests.

we went to a bunch of furniture stores & wound up w/ buying from Rooms to Go…we got a bunk bed for Jonah w/ the thought that maybe we’d have he & Ari share a room or just even have an extra bed for sleepovers…we have storage drawers under the bottom bunk bcse my house is lacking storage…

we also use a snugtuck pillow for a bedrail- LOVE it! http://www.snugtuckpillow.com/
