Carson screamed in the carseat. He had a SnugRide. He wasn’t very big – isn’t very big now either
– but I put him in an upright, forward facing 6 point harness carseat with a “cloth covered bar” that goes over his head and attaches between his legs. He isn’t very big, so I rolled up 2 blankies and put them on each side of him. He was MUCH better in this seat. I think the combo of laying quite flat and then going over bumps is a terrible thing for refluxers.
I am a SAHM so we don’t go very far at all and only a few times a week – if that. Our HyVee grocery store is 10 blocks away.
I was looking into a Britax Declathon, but i really can convince myself into expending that amount of money (they do look nic ethough, specially the pink floral one
). i am thinking of buying a graco convertible car seat. i hope Kendra likes it. You can always take it back if your LO doesn’t like it. just make sure you get at Walmart or Target. they usually take anyhting back, other than electronics.And the Fisher Price goes up to 55 pounds, so it should last for quite a while.
