Zegerid and Tums

Now I am really concerned I am not doing things right. We are on 40 mg of Zegerid which I know needs the buffer. I cannot find th Cherry Mylanta and the pharamcy ordered it for me. We did not want to wait giving Maggie the Zegerid as we know the prevacid is not working (The GI doctor yesterday tried to prove that the prevacid worked by using PH paper on Maggie’s spit up and guess what it came back acidic exactly what I had been saying). So anyway last night we mixed calcium carb (1,250 mg/5 ml) with the zegerid like it was the mylanta so just equal parts per Marci Kids. Am I giving Maggie too much tums?

Laura thank you so much for your help. I know I am not using the search engine right because when I look for things I can never find what I am looking for which is ironic since I am paralegal and that is all I do is research shows you how tired and stress I am.
