Put Katie’s Zantac in her bottle?!? Or how can I get her to swallow it ??? She has ben spitting it out Any tips greatly appreciated……. TIA

yes, you can do that with h2 blockers…but zantac is NASTY! have you considered pepcid or axid instead? they arent nasty like that. Mommy2myboy2007-6-24 12:49:31

Yes, I used to have a bottle with about 1/2 oz of formula, and I would put the Zantac in there. Then I would have another bottle for his feeding after he drank the medicine mixture. This way I knew he got it all.

you can also mix a little mylanta w/ the zantac

and you can also ask about zantac efferdose

If you can’t get her to take it you can maybe ask for Zantac Efferdose. It’s a new dissolvable tablet that supposedly tastes pretty good.

Yes the Zantac efferdose tastes nicer…I’ve tried it. I never had any probs with ALana taking it. Prior to it I was known to put the syrup with some formula in a bottle…but minty flavoured milk. YUK!

mylanta cherry supreme- it’s adult kind- just give a ml at a time- you cna’t overdose- if you see loose stools she’s had too much

Some people have had the Zantac made without the mint flavoring and without the alcohol. That might be another thing to try.

I used to put it in a syringe and then when I would give Carson a bottle, I would rub it on his cheek so he knew he was going to get it, but then quick give him the syringe and then the bottle after. ??
