I didn’t realize at the time that it was related to her wheat allergy, but Kaelyn would eat happily. Then she would typically fall asleep (the only time that she slept). About half an hour after eating, she’d wake up screaming bloody murder. She is an extreme case though.

When my girls get into food that they shouldn’t now, they get bad diaper rashes, dark circles around their eyes, red rings around their bottoms, weird rashes on their stomachs, arms, legs, or faces, and mucousy poops.

Abby was just incredibly fussy and gassy! She never had blood or mucous in her stools. Make sure that you give it time. Usually it is best to do the milk free diet for a month or more. It can take sometimes 2wks or more to get everything out of their systems. Also, some if not most babies who can’t tolerate milk as can’t tolerate soy. So you might want to go soy free also.

Oooohhhh… I forgot about the gas. As an infant, it was horrible! She would scream and scream and toot and toot. How could I have forgotten that?
