Hi all,
I’m taking Gabby on her first airplane trip next Tuesday. We are staying in Colorado for a week to visit family. Luckily, we’ll be staying with relatives so it won’t be too hard on Gabby. We are very excited, but also very nervous about how she’ll handle everything.
Anyone have any tips to make the 2 1/2 hour plane ride more tolerable? Gabby only takes 3 bottles a day now and has a dislike for juice so I’m unsure how to get her to suck on something as we go up and down. She’s a thumb sucker when she’s tired and will not take a pacifier.
Also, anyone other vacation tips would be appreciated. I feel like I’m packing everything we own and a billion lil outfits for her. I just want to be prepared.
ETA: Gabby is walking so I’m also worried about her sitting in our laps for such a long period without getting upset. Also, anyone have any experience taking their child into a higher elevation?
Thanks everyone
Kathy
