For the last couple of weeks I have noticed Noah rolling his eyes back. It lasts only for a second and then he’s fine. He seems to do it more when he’s tired. He did it today out of the blue while he was playing. He is completely responsive when this happens, but I still think its odd. Does this sound normal?
Lisa, thank you for posting this question. I don’t know what it is, but when I mentioned it to my ped (again), we ended up with an appointment for an EEG. I don’t want to scare you b/c it’s probably nothing. Hailey does it when she’s feeding and sleepy- her eyes roll upwards/back. I always thought it had to do with the reflux- part of the whole Sandifer’s thing. I hope it’s nothing.
Brodie used to do this too, when he was much younger. It used to freak me out too, but I guess it must just be another one of those phases, because he hasn’t done it in probably a year. RLM4262006-3-16 15:2:20
Jonah had Sandifer Symptoms before he was on the right medication & dose. It’s symptoms like back arching, stiffening a leg, twisting the head in one direction, & can also include seizure type episodes…i always use the symptoms as a barometer- as we got the meds figured out, the symptoms pretty much disappeared…
