InactiveHi everyone! Sarah is doing GREAT at one dose of zegerid per day! I am going to completely stop all meds. this Monday. I was going to drop the last dose this past Monday b/c she’s been doing great for 3+ weeks but I keep thinking she’s teething…keep procrastinating…so I decided I was going to stop all meds on Monday and see where we’re at from there! Wish us luck!!! I hope this means we can put our reflux days behind us!
I crazily applied for a teaching position in the town where I live and have been called back for a 2nd interview tonight with the school board. I’m terrified! I have never interviewed in front of SIX people before! Eeeeek! I am SUPER comfortable in my current school and position (which is only 15 minutes from my house) but the PAY and BENEFITS here are ten fold so I thought it would be stupid not to apply…I didn’t know I’d make it this far!! (From 50+ applicants to begin with!) I am basically just a NERVOUS WRECK waiting for 5:30 to come so I can get this whole thing over with! Again, wish me luck and I’ll keep you posted! I will know tomorrow morning if I got it.
You ladies are the best!

InactiveHooray for Sarah!!! That is so awesome that she could be done with meds and your reflux rollercoaster will finally let you off!!!
I hope it goes well and she does fine.As for the interview, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
I’m sure you’ll blow them away and if you don’t, their loss!!!!Congratulations too for making it that far!! My dad’s a history teacher and I remember him going through the interview process, hearing about it anyway. Teacher’s in my opinion are underpaid and underappreciated(the good ones
)so kuddos to you for getting into such a great profession!!!
I’m a little biased, mom, dad, and brother are teachers.
You’ll do great Amy!!! Just be yourself!!August 2, 2007 at 3:49 pm #40367Anonymous
Inactiveohhhh goodluck!! you’ll get it, i know it! we are going through the same thing here with dh, he’s had a couple interviews and each one he was soo nervous before hand… but they have all ended up easier than he thought! sooo it’ll go great tonight.. let us know!
and soo happy for sarah.. i know she will be fine too off meds.. exciting time in your lives!!August 2, 2007 at 4:23 pm #40376Anonymous
InactiveGood Luck on both accounts. Esp with the meds b/c that will make life so much easier. And best of luck with the interview. Just don’t worry about having 6 people there. I am sure you will do fine. You must have something that they are looking for if you have made it this far. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

InactiveAmy,
I’m just now seeing this and I’m so thrilled for you, on both counts. That’s such wonderful news that Sarah is doing so well, and so great about your job too. I’m so glad that you will be able to put the reflux behind you and have such a great job too. You deserve it!
