Due to my baby’s feeding aversion, my wife’s milk supply has decreased noticeably over the past 2 months. She has been takingsupplements ( mainly fenugreek and mother love milk supply) for about 2 months and it helped her keep up her supply. There were a couple of occasions when her milk supply got really low and we had to feed our now 6 months baby formula.I got her something called biomil LF (Lactose, gluten and peanut free formula). She doesn’t seem to mind it but I don’t now if that’s the best for my baby. She also got eczéma and I dont know if it’s related to the formual or not? I would your kind help in getting some feedback regarding formulas.
Formulas are tough. We have been on Enfamil regular, Lactose free, and Gentlease. I woudl ask your pediatrician, but usually they start on a regular iron fortified formula. Then you go from there. My son had a lot of gas which is why we switched to the Gentlease, but it is very thin and aggravates his reflux. I thought my son had ezema, and therefore a food allergy, but my doc said there would be blood/mucus in his stool. Good luck!
there is a difference b/t allergies & intolerances. babies most certainly can have intolerances and not allergies and intolerances can ‘look’ like allergies.
