DD is on prevacid 2x a day-15 mg. She still has painful spit up (but it is much better then premeds) so I was wondering if Maalox would also help her. If I decide to try it then when should I give it in relation to when she takes the Prevacid?

most here give mylanta cherry supreme because it does not contain aluminum. you might want to compare the ingredients to maalox, as I am unfamiliar with it, only w/ the mylanta cherry supreme…

I know you can give it w/ zantac but I’m not sure about the prevacid- I think you might have to space it out a few hours…someone else will hopefully chime in, or, you can do a search for ‘mylanta and prevacid’

We also did mylanta supreme. You need to space it out from delayed release PPIs, like the solutabs.

Oh yeah, DD takes prevacid solutabs.

So I understood from the link that it is ok to use after 1 hour of taking the solutab. Is that right?
