My Ped just suggested that increase my 2 month old 14 pound son’s prevacid dose from 1 solutab per day (1/2 in morning and 1/2 at night) to 1/2 in morning and a full pill in the evening does that sound right to all of you? She thought that there was pretty much one dose given and I told her about this site and she seemed interested…..just want to be 100% sure the dosing is safe.

also, is it 15mg solutab or 30mg solutab?

it needs to bve given on an empty stomach

Sounds good to me too. I know Marci suggests splitting the doses into three and that’s what we ended up doing, as my son would get really cranky in the afternoon and early evening. Just a thought….

Dose sounds good to me. We do 15mg in a.m. and p.m as trying to time 3 times/day around food is difficult so 2x/day has worked best for us. Good Luck.
