my 6 month old HATES the flavor of the prevacid solutabs – any suggestions on how to get him to take it? it apparently has to be dissolved in water and i have a struggle getting the dissolved tablet and water down him. any suggestions are appreciated. i also tried letting it dissolve in his mouth. he liked that even less!!

if he’ll eat applesauce, then you can get the capsules, open them up & sprinkle the granules on a spoon of applesauce…

you have to give them on an empty stomach….with only a tablespoon of applesauce (something acidic to activate the medication), and then a full meal 30-60 min later

I second Laura’s suggestion.. its the only way i got my son to willingly take prevacid 😉
