Hi. I live in between Greensboro & winston-salem in NC, so if anyone knows of a GI, let me know.

My DS is 4 months old, and I have suffered in silence for WAY toooo long! Finallly at last check up, he got Prevacid 15 solu-tabs, 1/2 once a day.

I am still dealing with a fussing, crying, shreiking baby that spits up all the time, and is starting to hate nursing and sometimes refuse EBM.

He is growing at the 75%.

MD feels like he’s “thriving”.

I am at wits end. I have eliminated diary, trying to do everything else ??What is that, no dairy, soy, nuts, eggs, gluten? Then no citrus fruits, no tomatoes, no brocolli, no cukes? Do I have everything right?

Anyhow, just want to know my next step? Do I tell MD I want dose increased? Do I go to GI specialist? What do I do?!

and of course I’m doing all the common sense things, this baby never is flat, that’s for sure. we keep him upright by carrying, wearing, bouncer or swing, and I have ordered a tucker sling.
We are not sleeping too well either!

I would look up the proper dose at http://www.marci-kids.com

and just TELL the MD your request. don’t ask.

FAX FAX FAX the dr

start off w/ a THANK YOU

keep it short & sweet

stick to the facts (no feelings and no rambling emotions)

state current meds, doses, symptoms

make request- flat out- short & sweet

THANK AGAIN

follow up by calling office to say fax was sent

call again later to discuss requests in fax, ie: have you called in the increased prescription yet? THANK YOU
