OK, I’ve got another question. I’ve read Laura’s info and it’s great, but can’t seem to find out this…

Do you need to space Zantac between feedings or can you give it whenever. It says on my bottle that we can give it whenever, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that I should wait 30 mins before feeding him. He hates it and it’s much easier to give with a feed, but not sure if that it making it less effective.

we gave whenever

maybe empty stomach is better

but you gotta do what you gotta do….

I don’t think it matters if Zantac is with or without feedings. It should be just as effective either way. So you should be free to give it whenever is easiest for you and your DS!

It is the DR PPI meds, like Prevacid, that need to be on an empty stomach 30 mins before a feed.
