InactiveWe have an appointment at the end of the month at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. I’m not sure which doctor yet. I’m interested to hear about other people’s experiences there. Particularly because my son is not having any trouble gaining weight I’m wondering if they will take me seriously and what the chances are that they will consider a higher Prevacid dose – currently, he’s taking 1/2 of a 15 mg solutab 2x a day.

InactiveThere are as many different types of pediatricians as there are specialties. A (far from definitive) list: there are specialists in adolescent medicine, pediatric cardiology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric GI, pediatric ER, neonatal (NICU) specialists, pediatric intensivists (PICU), pediatric ophthalmologists, pediatric ENTs, pediatric hematologists and oncologists, pediatric surgeons, pediatric psychiatrists, pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric dermatologists, and of course, the best of them all, pediatric neurologists. *G*############################
