Inactiveare there any new ones out there that have a similar set up to a dr. brown’s bottles?
my little guy can drink out of straw cups and regular cups but honestly it is not that practical when he drinks in the car or decides to wander around the house with his drink. i allow wandering with a drink, just not food.
dd used the avent magic sippy cups so they are still around, and we have the playtex straw sport sippers. when we were at the hospital on friday the nurse gave us a gerber sippy that has a no spill vent but my issue with most of the sippys is that they allow air bubbles to go into his irritated and already sensitve system.
maybe there is one out there that i don’t know about that i may have to order? would you happen to know of one that reduces air bubbles?

Inactivei gave up & she uses the old style cups. no valve just a small cup with a hard spout. while she does get the carpet a bit wet & often the front of her shirt too, it doesn’t seem that she gets much air in her belly & drinks better from that that all the others we’ve tried.

Keymasteryes, the toss n’ go cups are a standard around here- they are dishwasher safe and can be reused many many times- no valve
also good are the nuby brand cups- the soft spout is like a bottle, the flip top straw is a standard here, too…
one more is the cup lid/top that comes with the snak trap http://www.snacktrap.com/stores/snacktrap/catalog/SIP-LID-BL UE-250.jpg no valve
(LOVE Love the snack trap!! ) http://www.snacktrap.com/Search.bok?no.show.inprogress=1& ;sredir=1&category=Snack%20’N%20Sip%20Time:Snack-Trap

Inactivewe use the toss n go and the nuby. The nuby cups have both a first sippy style with handles and a taller 9 oz style that is like a regular sippy. They both have the soft tops and Michael likes them, especially when he is teething! I found the tall ones at Target but the short handled ones I found only at WalMart.

Inactivethey are usually hanging on the bottom row at most stores in the baby section under all the regular sippy cups. Target and wal mart are usually stocked the best

Inactivethank you for the replies!
i did look at the toss and go then found the nuby insulated cups. i will give the nuby a try and once i don’t hear him choking on his drink then maybe try the toss and go.
i want to replace the magic avent sippy cups since they seem to be the ones that cause him the most gas and swallowing issues.

InactiveTracy – Babies R Us has the Take n Toss cups – we use them here too –
although M won’t do much more than drink about 1/2 ounce water from
them. -
