My ped said it is fine to use it as long as their skin tolerates it! He said that mspi has nothing to do with lotions shampoo and things that they don’t ingest. We just had to stop using it b/c of his eczema being so bad. It is really not a stupid question though b/c i asked it too
Good Question!! I wondered that too, and I stopped using certain products (some suave products, and anything that says milk or cream)since Iam doing the elimination diet. Also, beware that most chewing gum has soy letchin in it.(I LOVE to chew gum)
I started using a “milk” lotion on my MSPI ds and a couple of weeks into it he started have some fussiness, runny bms, night wakings. I didn’t even think about it have actual milk protein in it—but it does and I stopped using it immediately and all was better in a few days. So, I would have to think that a soy lotion or body wash would do the same.
