We use them but give more than the label suggests. No problems withd drug interactions since they’re homeopathic and not a drug. But they do have lactose in them, so watch out if this is an issue for your little one. good luck. s&h’s mum2006-4-12 9:41:19
*disclaimer* I am not a medical professional- just a mama who was desperate: I gave a lot more than the bottle said to give- it was a gradual proces, lol. At 6months I gave 4 (bottle says to give 3 I think) and then I just kept giving more as he got bigger…at 12months I gave maybe 10?! Eeks! And my ds is currently almost 3 and is showing no signs that he’s worse for the wear
We have used them a TON, and also gave more than the recommended dosage, and are also not medical professionals and also found that they HELP A LOT WITH TEETHING!!! We love them.
My son is MSPI and had no problems with them. We used them wtih prevacid and also with zegerid and my pediatrician said it was okay to use them in conjunction with children’s tylenol and children’s benadryl….so I think you’re safe!
Just so you know, one of the ingredients in the tablets is Belladonna, also known as deadly nightshade, and it is a poison. Granted there is only a small amount in the tablets but you may want to reconsider before you give your child more than the recommended dose.
