I recently had a tooth extraction so I’m taking Tylenol 3 with codeine. I breastfeed my baby, so I was wondering if the amount of medication in the breast milk will be harmful to him since he take Zantac for his reflux. I’ve tried calling my doc and nobody is calling me back, so just wondering if anyone on here knows if there are any bad reactions from the amount of medication passed into breast milk and the Zantac. Thanks!

I’m no doctor, but I think it should be fine…I know when I was breastfeeding I had to take tylenol 3 and baby was ok- might even mellow the baby out, LOL! but anyway it should be fine w/ the zantac.

next: calculate to see if zantac dose is even high enough (if it’s working then don’t calculate)
