prevacid with caracream/chocobase

my daughter is 8 weeks old and was diagnosed with reflux at 4 days old. my nephew had terrible reflux so i was very familar with the symptoms it it was diagnosed very early. she started off on axid but we saw no improvement and a month later she was prescribed prevacid solutabs. we have insurance but not very good insurance and our co-pay for the medication is very exspensive. prevacid is now available over the counter…does anyone know if this otc prevacid is a capsule that can be opened with the granules inside??? if so this would be so much cheaper than what i am paying now. but obviously my daughter is too young to eat any solids so it can’t be mixed that way for her. if it does come this way can it be mixed with caracream or chocobase? ive been trying to figure out how this works…im not sure i understand. i know you can have your pharmacy do it or you can mix it yourself. if this is at all possible…how do you mix it and how do you go about ordering it??? thanks for any information!!!
