New Prescription/what would you do

My pedi agreed to let us try Zegerid, however she didn’t want to start out with the doses Marci Kids and Dr Phillips recommended.
She gave us the 20mg packages… told to give 5 ml once a day. She said that she is going on the recommended dose from Texas Childrens Hospital… the leading children’s hospital here in Houston. If that doesn’t work, to call and we can talk about moving the dose up then. So she is willing to work with it, but she likes to always start off on the lower end of medication then work our way up if needed.My LO has silent reflux so we are not dealing with major reflux and he doesn’t vomit.

Here is my struggle: My Pedi says mix with water give 5ml once a day.
Dr Phillips said: mix with water and mylanta give 6.5 ml three times a day.

On one hand, want to go with pedi because I trust her and I do have to deal with her and let her know how I have been giving the medication.
But on the other hand, Dr Phillips knows what he is doing you know?

So what would you do?
