Just wondering if zegerid is like prevacid – does it take a full 2 weeks to start working? Would love to hear from folks on when they started seeing results.

It took about 12-14 days before we started seeing results (small things like crying less to fall asleep, etc…) and it was day 17 before we had a brand new baby! It took a little longer than I was hoping…but definitely worth the wait! 🙂

Maybe I am just nuts, but we started it Saturday and he is already content.
He usually goes to be bed at 8 wakes up at 12 , 3 and 6 to eat, then wakes up at 7
last night, he went to bed at 8 woke up at 2 and 5….don’t know if it was the zegerid or just a lucky night, but I hope it lasts.

How long has your LO been on it.

you may not be nuts, lol.
if your lo was already on a PPI then it’s in his system, so switching to another PPI doesn’t necessarily mean taking up to two weeks for it to ‘kick in.’
It’s when you start initially that it can take up to 14 days to see the effects

Laura… well it is good to know that in this case I am not nuts! haha Can’t say I am not most any other time. 🙂
