I have read MARCI-Kids website but I can’t figure out how much Previcid my daughter should be taking. When looking at the chart does the dose matter if it is a liquid compound or pill? When I do the calculator it does not list Previcid Compound – only Powder Packs/Capsules/Solutabs.

This is all new to me so any help would be great.

She is 4 months old and weighs 13 lbs.

I had the same question when we were on the compounds. I was told that the mg’s are the same for all forms of the medication. So at 4 months and 13 lbs, your LO should get 7-9mg’s delivered 3 times a day for a total of 21-27 mg’s a day.

your compound should have written on it how many mgs are in each ml of liquid….
for example : 3mgs/ml
that would mean for each one (1) ml of liquid, there is 3mgs of medicine
