Hi everyone,

I am thinking about taking my son to an acupuncture/herbist. She is a DR that trained in China and is very highly recommend by a good friend of mine. Has anyone else tried this route? Did it help? Make things worse? My son is only 6 weeks old and just put on 1mg 2x omeprazole. He has silent reflux and is in a TON of pain. I really hate for hiim to be on meds at such a young age and was wondering if there was a more natural way. But of course I don’t want him in pain either. THANKS

good luck.
so many have tried all kinds of things.
I don’t think it’ll hurt.
BUT I would continue w/ Western medicine, too!

I took my lo to a QUACK because we were desperate.
we also took him to a chiropractor. who knows if it helped? it certainly didn’t hurt…

Thanks for the reply Laura!

I took him yesterday and he is too young to do needles and herbs. But she showed me some great hands on techniques for massage in a certain sequence. She also suggested I juice organic fruit and add 1/4 tsp to a little bit of water in a bottle. Then see how he does…eventually adding more…and moving on to green veggies. Has anyone else done this? I’m just nervouse b/c my son is so young. Do you think he could get a bacteria from it not being pasterized?
