InactiveI’m new to the site and very in need of a friendly help or advice with my daughter. H is 6 months and we switched to a third type of formula (neocate) and increased the prevacid dosage to 22mg a day. She first didn’t like neocate and refused to eat it. She would have days that she will only eat 1 – 1/2 oz everly feeding. Which is very minimum. She looks at the bottle and pushes it away. This week i started mixing neocate with pear juice to flavor it assuming it was the tast. This week her reflux gotten so bad that she started joking on it and it really scaries me. NOt sure what went wrong. This is our 2nd week on neocate and I don’t get why she has gotten worse. Is there anything you recommand. She does see a GI specilest but I feel i really need to do my homwork. I’m so sad that i can’t do anything to help my little girl. She has been suffering from reflux and internal bleeding for 3 months and we keep switching to different type of formula. I trually appreciate your time and any help or advice you can provide.

start there to see if PPI dose is ‘proper’then,
hop back here to learn HOW to get that proper dose, if need be, and what FORM of PPI and HOW to administer…Prevacid

InactiveOh my goodness! Why does she have internal bleeding – is that from reflux? I can in part understand what a rough time you’re having. My son only eats 1.5 ounces per feeding. I hope to see that things have improved for you soon.
