Hi Everyone!
I just joined this Forum today. My name is Kendal and my sons name is Liam. He has struggled with reflux and MSPI since he was 6 weeks old. He was 5 weeks premature, and the first 5 weeks out of the NICU he spent sleeping. He has been on more formulas than I can count, both Similac and Enfamil lines, now presently on Elecare. He is on 30mg of OTC omeprazole and Zantac 25mg/3x a day. NONE OF IT IS WORKING. He is still screaming and crying in pain non stop, arching his back, spitting up, not sleeping… I just dont know what else to do. We have seen a pedi GI (2 actually) who seemed to know less than I did after my research. I got the omep dosing from the MARCI Kids website, but if thats not working what else can I do? I honestly think there is something else going on, but I dont know what. I put a call into his Pedi, GI, and Allergist to hopefully have someone call me back trying to figure out why 7 hours later he is still screaming. We’ve given him Mylanta, Tylenol and Motrin alternating, and baby orajel in case its teething but nothing is making a difference. PLEASE HELP!! Questions and Advice welcome!! Thank you!
