Hi: I used to be a regular poster on here back in 2006 with my daughter Abby, who is doing just great and starting Kindergarten this fall!! I am posting for my boss, who has an almost 1 year old who her MD thinks may have reflux. She just got back from the MD and he put him on 7.5 mg of a Prevacid solutab 1 time per day, which I KNOW from the past is entirely too little. I tried to go to my other favorite website back in the day, Marci-kids, but they are under construction. Does anyone have access to a dosing calculator to get the correct dose? He seems to be an average sized 1 year old weight wise but I am just looking for some help for her. Also, is the 30 minute rule still in effect for Prevacid?? You were all such a great help to me when Abby was so bad that I had to come back seeking advice 🙂

Hihi! Answering from my phone, so it has to be brief…go to upper right-hand corner of this page & click on ‘search’ then choose ‘all forums’ & do a search for: dosing chart

The marci kids site has been down before & I’m fairly confident the chart dad been copied & pasted to this site…

You can also search for: Prevacid last post page

and this will get you the link for Prevacid 101, which should explain everything, too (& might even have the dosing chart there)
