no apologies needed! welcome!
I’m about to go to bed, but I can answer your questions/give you links so that you can understand & answer your questions
first of all do not stop the zantac! I learned this the hard way, so really, keep w/ the zantac making sure to space it 4hrs from the prevacid
next:
you need to figure out proper prevacid dose (actually you need to figure out proper zantac dose, too!) & go from there- no need to be concerned w/ MLs of the medicine, rather MGs of the medicine-
please read
Prevacid 101:
scroll to the last page of this post, (it’s actually also about other PPIs like prilosec, too)
https://www.infantreflux.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=1936&PN=0&TPN=1
there’s a link, from Prevacid 101, to a chart w/ how many mgs of prevacid your baby should be getting a day and also your baby should be dose 3 times a day (or two but three is optimal)
you need to give the solutab on an empty stomach, followed by a ‘meal’ 30 minutes later
again, don’t worry about the MLS of water that you add- you can give as much or as little water as you want/need- you can hold the solutab (or piece of it) along the inside of baby’s cheek and wash down w/ water from a syringe or a bottle or a nipple (not attached to a bottle), etc.
you can make the prevacid a paste and give on your finger and wash down, you can make it a liquid w/ a lot of water- it’s up to you and what works for your baby…
please read all you can!
here’s zantac dosing:
