Hi,

My son’s dr. recommended that we add Zantac at night because the Prevacid dose (22.5mg) doesn’t seem to be working anymore. I’m curious how long it will take before we might see some results. He was originally on Zantac when first diagnosed with no significant results. We’ve seen huge improvements on Prevacid until lately.

the zantac should work fairly soon…

what form of prevacid?

if all else fails, ask your ped GI about carafate for night time…

Hi,

Thanks- it seems like it already helped last night- but could have been just luck… he is takes prevacid solutab and its been working great. The GI said if the zantac doesn’t work it will be scope time…
