Why don’t you just boil and cook half the box and only use half the packet at a time, so at least you can get two meals out of it? Also, if you just use some of the packet, (not nealy as much as they require), you could just buy some plain elbow macaroni or something, and make more.
Hailey never liked it either. I found she liked plain macaroni better, though still only takes a few bites. I’m hoping to graduate to real mac n’ cheese one day, though.
My girls won’t eat mac n cheese either. Strange.
What’s not to like about mac n cheese? Every kid I’ve know loves it
except my two. They do like noodles lightly buttered with some grated
parmesan or romano cheese. Maybe Marisa would like that.
Does Marisa eat potatoes? My girls love au gratin potatoes.
The’ll eat potatoes with cheese but not noodles with cheese. Go figure.
Maybe Marisa would like them, too.
Noodles with parmesan and romano cheese, au gratin potatoes… mmmm… YUMMY!!!! Wow, you sound like quite the cook, Christine! I wish I was close enough to come over for dinner!
I’m glad someone’s impressed! DH is a picky eater and you know how kids are. I get plenty of compaints. My mom was a great cook and we all loved her food; a litte too much if you know what I mean.
For some odd reason, James will only eat the “Arthur” variety of Annies Mac & Cheese…it’s not because he’s into Arthur – he’s too young – just the shape, I guess…won’t eat any other shape/flavor of Annies, or any other brand, for that matter.
