Go to http://www.profileviewsplus.com You can sign up there to get a tracker to put on your page. It’s free – they just give you a code to paste in your profile.that is interesting!
but does it work for you? when i tried to sign up, it said “could not contact friend ID” whatever that means?

Inactivehmm i just signed up.. it didnt say that for me.. maybe you are entering the wrong myspace id?? maybe you entered the bottom id instead of the top one?
and my question is.. does it tell you what “friends” of yours is visiting it? or just people that are “strangers” ?

Inactiveohh boo…
“Nevertheless, due to current limitations to how our tracker works, we cannot determine the profile of ALL visitors to your profile. When this situation happens, we display “Could not be identified” for the profile of the visitor. One known limitation is that our tracker does not work for visitors using the Safari browser. Our tracker does work for most users who use Internet Explorer or Firefox. Another limitation is that we cannot show profiles of visitors who are not logged in at the time they visit your profile. ”
i looked up what does it mean when it says could not be identified.. because it tracked someone on mine that says they are from bronx, ny …but it couldnt be identified! and than it says that they cant identify internet explorer users!! dont most people use that one!?? oh well.. i guess its still nice to have just incase it does pick up one.. heather does it often tell you who the visitor is??

InactiveYou know, I only signed up a day or two ago, and so far I haven’t had any that weren’t “unidentified”. I thought maybe it was just my computer or browser or something. That’s kind of annoying because like you said, most people probably have Explorer, Safari, or Firefox. Oh well. I wonder if there are any other programs like that out there? I’ll have to look around.
Christine – I heard about it from someone on another board (p2p).

InactiveOkay, I just found another tracker, and it looks like it might be better (although I’ll have to wait until someone views my page to see!). It’s at http://safeprofile.com Hopefully this is a better one!

InactiveYou guys are so funny! I thought I was the only one who looked at myspace….. I just thought it was for high school kids but then I found a few people I went to high school with on there.
I also have found a few pages with kids of people that go to my parents church….. Boy would they be suprised!!
Anyway, I don’t think I’m good enough at this computer stuff to do that but I think it would be fun! I looked up Heather and Lauren’s pages. I get really curious about who I’m talking to sometimes, or maybe I’m just really nosey!!! I thought everyone here was much older than me, but I think I’m the old one!!!!

I also looked at the fam pics on the other postings, you all have beautiful kids!! Someday maybe I’ll figure out how to get a pic on of my family!?

InactiveI have a myspace page but I have done NOTHING with it. A few of my students said they did a search on me and found a page but there was nothing on it so they didn’t think it was me. Is there a way to make it private? I haven’t logged onto it since I first created it. I want friends to be able to see it…but not my nosy students!!!

yep there is a way to make it private. its somewhere in the account settings or something. i noticed a lot of people are setting their profiles to private nowadays. if you do that only your “friends” can see your page.

InactiveAmy,
Just click on “account settings” like Natalia said, then next to Privacy Settings click on “change settings”. From there you can make it private or public. Also – Erica – If you want to make a page and need help, just let me know!
I’d be happy to help you. It’s pretty fun!Bryce’sMom2007-4-16 23:30:29
