InactiveWe tried Abby on Zegerid a few months ago and she didn’t do well on it. So we switched back to Prevacid solutabs. She is doing great!!!But I have 6 large 20ml syringes, 1 10ml syringe and 9 5ml syringes all with caps. There’s enough that I can spit them up 3 large & 5 smaller ones. Let me know if anyone is interested.

InactiveI don’t need the syringes, but can I ask why she didn’t do well on the Zegerid?

She was doing well on the Prevacid solutabs but we wanted to try the Zegerid so we didn’t have to time it around meals. We finally got her GI to prescribe the Zegerid 20mg packets. When we started it she began spitting up loads more and went from a 2hr napper to 45mins if I was lucky.
Dr. Phillps said that the spitting up was probably b/c their was too much buffer for her. So he said to divide up the dose and give 4 times per day and add equal parts Mylanta Cherry Supreme. Well then the Mylanta Cherry Supreme gave her diarrhea. Since she was actually worse with naps and then the diarrhea it was just as bad if not worse then having to time the Prevacid around meals. So we switched back to Prevacid and have be actually sometimes waited less then the 30mins after giving it to feed her and haven’t had any problems.

If it is okay, I will just divide them in half. If you both could email me your addresses and I will mail them out to both of you.

InactiveAndrea, did she go back to being a good napper? We are having nap issues here ourselves and the loose stools too. He isn’t spitting up more, but the short naps are wearing us out!

Sorry to hear that Ben is having nap issues. On a bad day she takes three 45 min naps. But most days are good and she takes usually 2 naps about 1.5hrs each or one 2hr nap and a one 1.5/1hr nap. But she soothes hershelf to sleep and sleeps through the night. It is a rare occasion when she wakes up at night. She usually sleeps 12hrs per night and goes to bed about 6:45pm. She really is going great (knock on wood) but is teething right now so is a little winey right now.
