Anyone use Zegerid

Anyone use Zegerid? Can you tell me how you prepare it?

I give my daughter 30mg a day. I take a 20mg packet and mix with 6.5 mls’s of water. I give her half in the AM, and half in the afternoon (5mls each time) then before bed I make another 20mg packet the same way, give her 5ml’s and their is 5ml’s left for her AM dose.

This making is 2mg/ml.

I keep it in the fridge between doses. Its never in the fridge for more than like 20 hours.

Is this okay???????

yes i believe thats fine.thats how i make the 40 mg packet.

Yep, you’re doing it exactly right. It’s good in the fridge for up to 3 weeks I think, so don’t worry about that.

Perfect!! It can keep in the fridge for 21 days or out of the fridge for 24 hours. We mix up 3 large syringes at a time so it doesn’t seem like I am a mad scientist all the time.

I would suggest buying some small syringes (from Walmart) with the tip caps so you can make a few days worth at a time. I can’t imagine having to make doses of medicine everyday like that. It’s already a pain to do it every 2-3 days! If you are able to get a 20-30mL syringe with a tip cap, it makes it really simple to mix up several doses at once! Good luck!
