If you can handle apples, I stumbled upon Apple Butter in the health food section of my grocery store the other day. It reminds me of summer meals at my grandmother’s summer house in NC!
Tap’n Apple brand Apple Butter Spread
Ingredients: Apples, Apple Cider. All natural, no preservatives.

I’ve tried it on my waffles ( https://www.infantreflux.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=7997&a mp;PN=1) and thought it was quite good.

Also, a local restaurant I used to go to in my pre-TED life served sweet potato fries with apple butter to dip them in. I’m going to try that tonight.
