My son has not eaten anything different or new but I think he might be teething and he has had constant diarrhea and diaper rash. Have any of your babies gotten diarrhea and diaper rash from teething? Emmy2006-2-17 21:18:54

YES! Isaac gets diarrhea with each new tooth. And with diarrhea comes bad diaper rashes. Of course the ped said that teething doesn’t cause this but i find it hard to believe! isaacsmom6182006-2-18 8:37:42

I’ve heard it can cause that. For us, not yet. I wish it would frankly,
since Marisa is constipated again it wouldn’t be a bad thing LOL

It sure does for us too. Even though pediatricians do not
attribute diarrhea to teething I sure do find it hard to believe.
Almost every child I know has had this as a “side effect”!

Well, alot of peds also say that pain from teething doesn’t cause babies to wake up at night from pain. Yeah, right……..
