Change from Alimentum?

DS is 6 months old now and has been a happy spitter since birth. About 3 weeks ago he stopped spitting up all of a sudden. He is on WIC and receiving Alimentum. At my next WIC appt I know they want to change him to CGS if he has improved. Do you think I should change his formula or is it too soon? If you think it’s ok to change the formula should I go with soy or regular CGS? I really did not want to go to soy because of the possible side effects. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Well, these changes need to made gradually, so I’d probably ask them to
keep her on Alimentum at least another month or two and then I would
purchase a small amt of Good Start and trial her with a small amt (like
2 ounces per day) for a while. If she tolerates it then gradually
increase the amt of Good Start until you are sure she is fine with it.
I wouldn’t just switch from Alimentum to Good Start all at once. Once
you are sure she can tolerate the Good Start then you can ask WIC to
make the change. Will they pay for both if you want to make the
transition slowly? If not, I’d buy the Good Start and let them keep
providing the Alimentum since it is so expensive.

I’m happy to hear she has stopped spitting up. I hope it continues.
