I’ve been instructed that I can not BF but I can pump and feed. Problem is, I do not have the time to pump often enough to make sure his supply stays up. So DH and I have decided to now ween him onto formula. Now we have also been wondering about food aversions. If we are switching to formula from EBM (and I did not do the TED) how would I now go about finding food allergies? I have also started him on solids (no mixed) as the doctor recommended. The formula we use (if I needed to supplement) was Good start with omega 3’s. He does like it, but is it a good one to start with?
yeah it is for now unless he does have a bad cow protein intolerance but if you were drinking cows milk during the time you were breastfeeding it’ll be about the same.
Goodstart is good because the cow protein is partially broken down. Another formula of the same ilk is Enfamil Gentlease but I noticed Goodstart upped the ante by adding Probiotics to their formula.
