Concentrated Liquid Formulas

We switched Aidan to the Nutramigen 13 oz concentrated liquid which needs to be diluted with 13 oz of water (which I use gallon spring water). Its alittle bit more economical than RTF so we decided to go that route.

Aidan is a bit stuffed up in the nose and is very irritable and I hear some reflux bouts going on. Not like we used to hear but enough to make me worry a bit.

My question is, have any of you ever tried to use a concentrated liquid formula of any sort, including Nutramigen, and noticed a negative change in your childs reflux symptoms?

Could his refluxing and his irritability be due to a cold he may have brewing?

This sucks because just when we seem to have gotten his reflux under control with the Prilosec, this starts!!!!

Our situation is a little different because we recently switched from the powder to the concentrate. Alex seems to be spitting up a little more, but I think that’s unrelated because we tried switching back and it didn’t make a difference. Other than that, I really like the concentrate. She has a much easier time drinking it than the powder and it’s a lot easier to clean the bottles.
