InactiveHi Tiffany –
She mentioned 3 months when I talked to her which would get us to about 17 months. I’m not really sure why, but she said that in passing. Of course my husband decided that he would try yogurt again last night before I got home from work, and Owen had the WORST gas ever last night and woke up with diarreah again. He felt bad about it, but at least it does show up that he just can’t handle that right now. Such a disapointment.
Totally off subject, but does Seth have any separation anxiety? Owen never did and all of a sudden he is completely attached to me – this morning he wouldn’t even let Pat give him his bottle, it had to be me. He cried when I dropped him off at day care for the first time ever this morning. I’m not sure how to deal with this!
By the way, congrats on the allergist results! I was away for the past 5 days but I saw that post. What a relief! Did he mention anything about soy?

InactiveThanks Laura- I was looking on line too about protein intolerance and did see where they suggest to wait 3-6 months between trials for whole milk but did not offer anything about hidden dairy or cheese. We are going to go very slow with this- trying vanilla wafers this week that have milk in them and if all goes well will move up to cheese, yogurt and then milk. He slept great Sunday night but woke up a few times last night but is also teething. We’ll see how it goes today..
Seth went through a separation anxiety phase a little while ago but it did not last long. He wanted his Daddy all of the time though! It kind of hurt my feelings. Everytime he saw DH when I had him, he would want to go to him and whenever he heard the garage door opening and realized Daddy was home he would get so worked up and excited he would cry! He would also cry when I picked him UP at daycare like he was afraid I was going to leave him again. He never really cried when I left him at daycare but DH said he did cry when I left them one night to go to my MOPS meeting. He is still big time into Daddy but not as bad. I have noticed though that he is a lot shyer around people now. We went to a birthday party Sat., and he played but did not really “talk” or ham it up for other people like he does us. I guess this is more stranger anxiety.
Oh, about the allergist, he did not mention anything about soy. I wish they would have tested for all of the major allergens. If we fail the dairy trial again, I will test soy since it would offer more nutrients but don’t want to introduce too many things at once.
