Does anyone know where I can find out if Prevacid solutabs have milk products in them. A mom had told me this before and I would like to take any info on this to the GI with us on the 13th, now that I know that Abby def. has a MSPI. I want her to switch her to Zegerid, this might help convice her. Thanks.

Just after posting this I went to the Prevacid website and looked under tools and resources and found a document that had all the ingredients for the solutabs and they have lactose in them. How funny b/c the GI told me not to give Abby the teething tablets b/c they have lactose in them. This better convice her to make the switch to Zegerid.

lactose doesnt bother my son and he has MSPI. are you sure lactose bothers her? he just cant handle the milk protein.

I’m not sure… The GI just told me to avoid it. And I haven’t given her any. I even found teething biscuits that are milk and soy free. I’m just hoping since she told me to aviod it she will switch her meds.

It’s really a tiny amount, Aidan IS lactose sensitive, and it doesn’t bother him.

It did bother Kaelyn, so the amount of lactose can be a problem for some babies.
