does zantac cause sleeplessness?

i upped my sons dosage from .7 to 1.15 and it seemed to help his reflux alot but unfortunately for the first time since he was born he didnt go to sleep good. usually he falls asleep around 830 or 9 and hes out till morning..even when he wants to eat he doesnt really wake up and you could set a bomb off and he wont wake up.(this is at night only) but tonite he couldnt seem to fall asleep for hours..you could tell he was tired, he could barely keep his eyes open but he kept fussing and waking. could this be from the zantac, hes been on it 4 days without this side effect, but i did up his dose because it seemed to be wearing off early. I should mention he did keep wanting to eat every two hours too..which is rare.

How old is he? He could be going through a growth spurt with the frequent feedings? Just a thought.

hes 4 months but i dont think its growth spurt cause he went through one like a month ago. hes eating more often but less at a time . maybe its the cereal?? it could fill him up faster but not last as long??? just thinking aloud..im not really sure…i think i might go down a little..in between what doc said and what website said…doc only ok’d up to .9 max and thats not even the min for the site..im gonna try 1 ml and see from there… i cant wait to get this ins mess sorted so i can see a g.i. and talk to someone who knows…im stuck with this ped till next month..(ins makes you pick one doc! argh!)
