About a year ago I read that study and freaked out. But my daughter refused to drink from anything else. So I kept giving them to her, after I decided the study was extreme (I believe they boiled the bottles). We just heated them to lukewarm, and we used a bottle brush from babiesrus that has soft bristles and does not scratch. And we replaced the bottles when they got scratchy/cloudy.

Our glass Evenflo bottles came yesterday! They fit perfectly with my Purely Yours breastpump. The Dr Brown insides work OK with it –but the inside tube needs to be cut (it will not bend right), or the top will leak. So yeah !!
