Well, just got back from the doctor with Abby and guess what she got for her first birthday??? Ear infection in one ear and pneumonia in one lung – OH GOODIE!!! Didn’t really want to post this in the boohoo section because I am somewhat relieved that her crabbiness of late is most likely due to this rather than the reduction in her Zegerid dose. So he started her on Zithromax and neb treatments and said she should be feeling better soon. Then we attack the next dose reduction, then start on whole milk, then try taking her totally off the Zegerid. I really don’t think she will have an issue with switching to whole milk as she has done great on the Good Start. I just don’t remember all of these fun things with Kayla – she was off her meds by 9 months and smooth sailing after that. Oh well, at least Abby is a pretty happy sick kid – can’t wait to see how she’ll be when she is feeling good again!!
