Elecare- how often compared to breastfeeding?

I am starting Elecare for my 7 1/2 week old daughter. She was breastfeeding every 2 1/2-3 hours. I know that with most formulas babies can go a little longer between feedings, is this the case with Elecare as well or should I keep the same routine?

I don’t have any personal experience with Elecare, but it is an elemental formula and the babies system doesn’t work as hard to digest it so she may go through it the same as she did breastmilk. I would keep the same schedule and she how she does. She will let you know if she isn’t hungry, but I would imagine it is probably pretty similar to breastmilk in the way it is digested/absorbed.
