ELISA allergy test and Tube feeding videos

Has any of the tube feeding moms used the videos by Marsha Dunn Klein? are they helpful? specially the one tittled “Tube Feeding are Mealtimes, Too”
I am at a loss once again
I have thrown the towel trialing foods for now Kendra gets miserable and so do i from seeing her struggles. We are going for patch testing next week. We had done 3 different skin prick tets. She had a moderate reaction to cats, sweet potatoes and white potaoes ( i thought potato was so bland). She showed no allergy signs in the RAST testing. Now i am looking into the SAGE ELISA Delayed allergy testing. Of course these test are all so experimental, but iam willing to spend the money, so mayyyybe we can find some answers. She showed no sign of EE in her biopsy and doesn’t seem to tolerate any food at all. What is wrong with my kid??? I have tried going more than 3 days on solids, but it’s not worth her suffreing any experince with this test?

in situations like this, you have to remember there are tons of kids with food intolerances in which there is no testing for. and please, dont ever let a doctor tell you there are no such things as intolerances, because that is a load of bs. other than that, i would just say to try to be patient, because she is going to be able to tolerate food one day-she wont be on formula for the rest of her life. try not to stress about it too much, maybe you can do a food trial every 4-6 months or so. I heard of a babe around here who was not able to tolerate anything but neocate until she was around 16 months old or so. lots of hugs!

I wish I had some advice for you, but honestly I never had to deal with anything like that. Like the mom above said don’t stress about it. Take a deep breath. I know easier said then done, but hopefully things will be better soon.

thank you guys. I have decided not try food for another 4 months. kendra is sooo happy when she is just on neocate.
